In this article we are going to talk acai berry research. Why? Well, I’m going to be honest with you. There is simply so much hype, hysteria and “fake” facts out there about this amazonian super fruit that it’s often difficult to discern between what is real, and what is simply fake.

What does this do to the general state of acai berry knowledge and eduction? Very simple! It’s throws the whole thing into a pernicious pot of disarray, as people looking for authentic and genuine facts are unable to find them, and often give up…missing out on many of the amazing benefits this little fruit can provide.

Research Fact #1: Does Acai Berry Cure Cancer?

Absolutely NOT, and if anyone tells you it does you need to run the other way. Where did this fact get it’s foundation? The University of Florida has done some VERY encouraging research into the possibility of cancer killing agents in this fruit, and found, that in a test tube environment, cancer cells were in fact destroyed when subjected to compounds within the fruit. They were careful to admit however, that this was proof of NOTHING just yet, and while encouraging, much more study was necessary before arriving at any conclusions.

Research Fact #2: Does Acai Berry Reverse Aging?

This is a tricky one to answer! Why? Anti-aging is a very subjective thing….and often subject to how you FEEL, which often plays a significant role in how you look, act and appear younger ( or older) to others. Here is what we DO know! Acai Berry diets have been proven to give people more energy, to help them feel more youthful, vibrant and alive…and whether or not this is a “placebo” effect or not is truly not important in our view. Thousands of people have claimed to have their very best ages restored through an acai diet, and this is very encouraging (and exciting) research to say the least!
