Is there a conspiracy promoting acai berry products?

They’re all spam. The only thing you need to lose weight is proper diet and exercise. All these juices and expensive ebooks aren’t necessary.

I agree, and I think there may be some people just randomly posting these b/c the product is not free at all if you read the small print (they will begin to charge you $120 per month for it if you don’t cancel), and who knows if it really works???

Conspiracy? probably not
Scam? probably by many of the folks pushing acai on the public
It is fairly high in antioxidants and that is a keyword these days. It is also high in fat content.
I would be very careful about buying anything but a brand you can check online or already know has a long and good reputation.
Check the info about acai at Wikipedia:
It is true that you are better off with a carefully balanced diet which takes into consideration foods that are effective as antioxidants and a whole host of other things.
Because of the high exposure to toxins today’s environment, antioxidants can play a key role in supporting a healthy body and possibly warding some serious diseases.
But seeing Acai every time you open your email or newspaper of magazine, that’s just opportunistic and the companies are questionable to say the least.

Yeah, there are newbies that are going around promoting the Acai Berry product, so they can sweep them off to their scam sites. I almost ordered from Extreme Acai Berry, until I googled it… and got this:
All of the Acai Berry Online products are scams, until further notice. If you really want to try it, you should go to a diet store and buy it physically — do not trust any of the websites.
